Assassin

You have a target. You also are a target. Don’t get caught.

  • At game start, every player is assigned a target (another player).
  • Your job: get close to your target without them noticing, and tag them.
  • When you tag your target, you take over their target — the chain continues.
  • If someone tags you, you’re out.
  • 4+ players.
  • Place a generous Play area — assassin games reward stealth, so room to lurk matters.

The last player alive wins. Their final kill chain becomes the legend.

  • Don’t reveal who your target is. Walk past them casually.
  • Watch your own back — your assassin is watching you walk past your target.
  • Demonstrates: assign_cycle in onStart to build a single target chain with no fixed points, identity checks with { ref: "other.id" } vs { ref: "same.state.targetId" }, and inheriting your victim’s target on a kill.
